Camso RD 4500 Series tracks for Case IH Rowtrac
Updates for Rowtrac versions of the Case IH Quadtrac and Magnum tractors include a new high-durability traction belt option allowing faster transit speeds on the road, and an additional traction belt width to suit particular cropping situations.
Rowtrac versions of the Quadtrac 420, 470 and 500 run on purpose-designed track frames carrying relatively narrow traction belts with a longer contact patch than the regular design, and with settings to suit different crop row spacings.
For 2019, the tractors will be available with 18in, 24in and 30in traction belts (losing the 16in size) but also a 21in size that caters for additional crop row configurations.
Camso RD 4500 Series
All 4 sizes can be had with regular traction belts or the new Camso RD 4500 Series, which is designed to allow these tractors to run at their top speed – 40kph (25mph) – without restriction, including when towing implements. That is up to 50% faster than before, points out Camso, resulting in faster journeys between yard and field.
