The ability to transfer data between machines is one of the features Knight Farm Machinery is adding to its smaller 1800 range of self-propelled sprayers.

The new control system will allow Isobus-compatible third-party controllers to be used with its machine to help the sharing of information between machines from different manufacturers.

According to Knight it is the first UK manufacturer to offer this option to help streamline operations by quickly distributing data.

Hydrostatic boosted braking system

Also on its 1800 series machines will be a hydrostatic boosted braking system, which senses the change in oil pressure when the operator eases back on the hydrostatic control stick, and automatically drops the motors powering the front wheels into low range.

This new braking feature is being fitted as standard on larger machines in the range but will be offered as an option for smaller models.
