Trimble AFX-750 isobus guidance display
A new in-cab terminal and satellite receiver combination for tractors and other agricultural vehicles provides guidance and isobus functions, and connectivity with a number of satellite constellations and correction signals.
The Trimble AFX-750 with its 10.1 inch colour screen is aimed at mixed fleet owners because it can be used with tractors from most manufacturers.
It can be used as an isobus Universal Terminal to communicate with compliant implements for set-up and control functions, and also a guidance display that can also measure and record such things as application rate and compare it with a user-defined target.

The unit uses Trimble’s Field-IQ software on the Android operating system, which can communicate with implements without using the isobus protocol, compatibility with Trimble farm management software, and also with the company’s Autopilot guidance systems for both hydraulic and electric installations.
The AFX-750 package, which Trimble says will suit farmers new to precision farming technologies, includes a NAV-900 guidance controller that is said to house the company’s most advanced triple-frequency multi-constellation GNSS receiver to provide robust signal availability, especially in hilly terrain.
The NAV-900 is equipped to simultaneously work with several GNSS constellations.
It uses GPS (USA), GLONASS (Russia), Galileo (Europe) and BeiDou (China) satellites together, providing increased reliability and shorter convergence time, says Trimble, while the correction signals that can be accessed include CenterPoint RTK, CenterPoint VRS, Trimble RTX, and European Space Agency SBAS.
In the UK, an AFX-750 with 1-year basic accuracy RangePoint RTX correction has a list price of £3,495.
