Fendt held it’s biennial field day on 23 August in Wadenbrunn near Würzburg. Around 110 Fendt tractors and self-propelled machines were there this year true to the motto “Future to the Field”.

Apart from about 110 tractors, the tens of thousands of visitors mainly saw Fendt-implements in action. The Rotana round baler for example is new. This baler comes with a fixed and a variable press unit.

Compared to it’s predecessor, the former Tornado, acquired by Lely company some time ago, the bale transfer is different and the ring wrapper has been renewed. Up to 24 knives are available, foil binding is not. Agco builds the presses in WolfenBüttel, in the former Lely-Welger factory.
