Sulky ‘budget spreader’ features section control
Sulky introduces a new, small fertiliser spreader. Remarkably, the DX W-Control features section control.
The new Sulky fertiliser spreader is available in 2 versions: the DX-30 and the DX-30+. With these spreaders Sulky aims at smaller arable farms. The DX-30 (900 liter) offers a working width of 28 meters. The DX-30+ (1.500 – 3.000 liter) has a working width of up to 36 meters.

Section control on Sulky DX W-Control
What stands out, is that the DX W-Control fertiliser spreaders feature section control. That means they can adjust how much fertiliser is being spread per section, depending on the contours of the field or overlap with previous runs in the adjacent row. Usually this feature is only found on bigger and more expensive spreaders, used by large arable farms.
Vision spreader computer
In order to control the amount of fertiliser being spread and the working width, the DX-W spreader is equipped with Sulky’s Vision spreader computer. In order to use section control, the farmer must connect this computer to a universal GPS system and GPS terminal that feature section control.

Examples are Trimble Fmx/GFx/Tmx screens or comparable systems supplied by tractor manufacturers or brands such as Topcon, John Deere, Agleader or Raven.
Stainless steel
The spreaders are equipped with typical Sulky features such as the epsilon-shaped spreading vanes, stainless steel spreading dish and many stainless steel components in the lower section of the spreader, such as the bottom part of the fertiliser bin.
Prices for the Sulky DX W-Control start at € 13.585 for the DX-30, the DX30+ costs € 14.220.
The Bigger DX-30+ has a bin that can contain 1.500 liter of fertiliser, which can be enlarged to 3.000 liter.
