McCormick launches tire pressure system

McCormick introduces a solution for rapidly changing tire pressure. The system is called EazyGrip and will be introduced at the upcoming Agritechnica.

Solutions for changing tire pressure on the go are not new, however only few tractor manufacturers can supply such a system as an OEM solution.

McCormick now can, like for instance Fendt and Claas. The EazyGrip system will be available in small numbers starting 2020.

  • The operation of the EazyGrip pressure change system is basically Isobus-compatible, which means that it is simply operated via the standard tractor terminal.

Operated via standard tractor terminal

McCormick’s parent company Argo sources the system from a third party. The air lines run (shielded) around the tires and thus bring the air through the center of each wheel to the valve. The operation of the EazyGrip pressure change system is basically Isobus-compatible, which means that it is simply operated via the standard tractor terminal.

McCormick states a tire pressure change system makes a major contribution when it comes to reducing diesel consumption, reducing tire wear and, above all, soil protection.
