APV introduces the LF 600 M1, a (front) tank with pump and spraying nozzles for applying liquids while planting.

APV Technische Produkte, a machinery manufacturer from Austria, developed the LF 600 M1. This front tank is equipped with a pump and spraying nozzles. It allows farmers to apply liquids, such as fertilisers or fungicides, while planting or working the soil.

600 liters

The LF 600 M1 has a tank with a capacity of 600 liters, a pump (20 l/min), a controller, a flow meter and wiring. It uses 12 Volt. The tank will fit in a categorie 1 or 2 front linkage, and can also be mounted at the rear of the tractor. It also comes with a 25 liter holding tank for clean water, a filling sieve, a stirrer and led lighting.

For distributing the liquids a distributor head is needed. These can be ordered with 12, 24, 36 or 48 outlets, hoses and tip nozzle. Other nozzles are available as an option. The openings can be capped as needed. All configurations between 2 and 48 are possible.

Adjust flow

The controller can also be used to adjust the flow based on driving speed instead of using the flowmeter. For that you need the optional sensors that AVP supplies. This would also allow the LF 600 M1 to automatically switch on and off during headland turning.

The LF 600 M1 costs € 5.000. A distributor head with 48 outlets costs around € 1.000.
