Amazone app expands terminal to tablet

Machinery manufacturer Amazone launches the Amatron Twin App. This app allows you to easily expand your control terminal to a tablet such as an iPad.

Many machinery functions are now controlled via a control terminal. In addition to the standard machine functions other applications are possible, such as automatic section switching or the processing of application maps. As a result, users often have to switch between different menus on the same screen on the control unit or terminal.

Amazone came up with a simple solution: the AmaTron Twin app. With that you can use your tablet as an extra terminal screen. This allows you to monitor several things at the same time.

Amazone app works on all mobile devices

The most obvious option is to display GPS functions on the tablet, for example. This way you can still operate the machine at the same time. The Amazone app works on all mobile devices such as tablets or smartphones with iOS or Android operating systems and can be downloaded for free in the app stores. The isobus terminal must be equipped with the AmaTron Connect extension package.

Wireless connection

AmaTron Connect contains both a USB WLAN stick and the license for the wireless connection between the terminal and the AmaTron Twin app. To do this, simply connect the mobile device to the AmaTron 4 via a local WLAN hotspot.

Functions, such as creating fields and recording fields or tracks, are now performed on the mobile device. Application map processing and section control application are also displayed on the additional device. This way, you can use the 8-inch touchscreen of the isobus terminal (AmaTron 4) to just operate the machine.
