6th French field robot
The Elatec E-Tract is the 6th French field robot to be part of Future Farming’s field and harvest robot catalogue with over 35 robots you can buy, lease, or hire in 2021.
Two positions for attaching implements
The E-Tract is a generic tool-carrying robot with two positions for attaching implements. It has a triangle in the centre and standard 3-point category 1 hitch at the rear. You can thus attach standard implements that are generally used in vegetable cultivation for for instance mechanical weeding, spraying and phenotyping.

The robot is electrically driven and runs entirely on lithium batteries. For guidance and navigation it uses either a colour and 3D camera or cameras and RTK-gps. The implement position in the centre enables optimal control of the working depth of for instance a hoeing machine.
Since mid-2019, two E-Tracts are being tested in France at the test centre for fruits and vegetables (CTIFL) for spraying and hoeing and this year it will be for sale in France and in The Netherlands priced from € 65,000.
