AgriPer sees opportunities for the solar generator to be used for irrigation. You can also use the generator for other purposes, such as charging an electric vehicle or supplying electricity back to the grid.

Equipped with battery

In this video, Morvan van Eyk of AgriPer tells us more about the solar generator. The device is equipped with a battery to bridge periods without sun. The generator should be able to power one normal irrigation reel, which is a reel of 300 to 400 meters. Van Eyk mentions an amount between €75,000 and €100,000 as the price, depending on the model. The payback period would be between 4 and 4.5 years, and there are subsidy options.
