The Japanese machinery manufacturer Kubota has won the bronze medal at the Sitevi trade fair, which took place from November 28-30 in Montpellier (France), with its AI spraying system. This fair is mainly focused on grape, orchard, and olive cultivation.

Kubota’s AI precision spraying system employs artificial intelligence (AI) and 3D cameras to administer very precise dosages of foliar fertilizers and crop protection products. With the AI system, the machine can make real-time adjustments, allowing for more precise use of foliar fertilizers and crop protection products. Kubota promises up to a 40% reduction in crop protection products and up to a 20% reduction in foliar fertilizers.

Plug-and-Play Assembly

Kubota’s innovation includes both software and hardware, as well as an online management tool. This allows external service providers to also use the data. The AI precision spraying system can be assembled in a plug-and-play manner on tractors.
