Farmertronics eTrac, which is powered by a Lithium ion battery pack with three batteries, carries out unmanned weeding, mowing and spraying by using standard weeding elements, a standard mowing deck and standard spraying components. The zero-turn robot navigates by sensing the environment with GPS and a 3D sensor (time-of-flight camera) and paths are planned with an Android app on a tablet. It should be able to perform various operations with several types of configurations based on the same vehicle basis. Typical users are vegetable and fruit growers.
Availability: In 2021, the Farmertronics eTrac will be sold in the Netherlands and from 2022 in Belgium, France and Germany as well. Prices range from € 70,000 to € 100,000, depending on the battery pack selected (15, 30 or 45 kWh) and the implements included.
