What is the most striking detail of your system?
The PowerGuide manual steering system is a solution for an easy start with precision farming. It consists of an all-in-one controller with the newest FieldBee GNSS receiver and controller, that provides 20 cm accuracy without correction signal, and 2,5 cm accuracy with RTK. It also includes a tilt compensation sensor and controller for automatic steering. The FieldBee navigation app offers different navigation patterns, record-keeping functionality, field management and many more features.
How is it fitted?
Can be installed in 3 ways, depending on the customer and autosteer type:
1. By farmer him-/herself based on tutorials, manuals, and how-to videos and free online support.
2. With the help of a local mechanic with experience in installing autosteer systems.
3. By an authorised partner such as a FieldBee engineer or local partner.
Can it be fitted on pre-installed or factory fitted vehicle components?
Yes, the system is compatible with factory preinstalled steering components.
Can you take the system to another vehicle?
GNSS receiver, as well as the tablet with the app, are very easy to detach from the tractor this takes about 2 minutes. Mechanical autosteer is also easily interchangeable between tractors. With additional switch kit max 1 hour. If you have preinstalled cables and motor in the second vehicle, yes, in 5 minutes.
What happens if satellite or correction signals lack or fail?
After losing the correction signal, the system keeps RTK up to 60 sec than the type of correction switches to gps on the open environment for some distance without jumps. Farmer can activate gps for autosteering for this type of issue.
What patterns are available?
Straight, curved, headland (internal field boundary), by recorded path as pattern, free play, manual straight, list of patterns for the field, multiple headland. Alert about the boundary of field displaying obstacles, voice assistant (informing about correction status, autosteer enabling/disabling status, warning messages if any)
How often and at what costs is the software updated?
We do updates every month, free of charge.
Which licenses/unlocks are available and at what costs?
We have a navigation application which is € 119/year. RTK and autosteer unlocks are included in the price.
