Hexagon Agriculture is part of Hexagon and so is the Leica brand. Hexagon Agriculture autosteer solutions might not ring a bell immediately, but the Leica brand is well-known for its gps solutions for construction and mining machinery.

What is the most striking detail of your system?
It has a dedicated sensor to detect small deviations in trajectories even before GNNS (Global Navigation Satellite System), resulting in high accuracy performance. Includes an incline and abrupt manoeuvre correction system. Has the additional module of remote access.

How is it fitted?
The electric auto steering installation typically takes four hours to complete and requires a more skilled technician for finishing matters than for mechanical ones. The installation of a hydraulic auto steering requires a more specific technical service when compared to the electric model. Typically, this type of installation takes six hours to complete. The assembly of a hydraulic auto steering requires a modification to the tractor’s original hydraulic circuit, which is the most laborious task.

Can it be fitted on pre-installed or factory fitted vehicle components?
The hydraulic system can. It is also possible to connect our system to tractors that have an electronic hydrostatic steering valve.

Can you take the system to another vehicle?
It is very easy to change the electrical equipment to another tractor as long as some basic items are installed in the other vehicle. These items are provided in an additional parts kit. To change the hydraulic system from one vehicle to another, it is necessary to have the hydraulic, mechanical components, cables and the control module installed in both vehicles.

What happens if satellite or correction signals lack or fail?
The GNSS receiver can keep us operating for some time in case of correction signal lacks. We can’t operate without a GNSS signal.

What patterns are available?
Accuracy in all modes of operation – straight, curved, pivot and adaptive.

How often and at what costs is the software updated?
2 to 3 times per year. Software update is for free and you can download from our web page.

Which licenses/unlocks are available and at what costs?
GNSS Standard include GPS and Glonass. No cost. Isobus available: TC: € 450, UT € 450 UT+TC: € 650.
