The battery-powered Monarch Tractor is a fully electric, robust tractor platform with a category I three-point hitch and a 540 rpm PTO. It does everything that a traditional tractor can do and there is room for a person to drive it. Sensors and imaging are processed to provide critical data points that can be used for yield estimates, current growth stages, and other plant/crop health metrics. For navigation it uses eight cameras and sensors. The development began as a USAID project at sister company Motivo Engineering in 2014.
Availability: The Monarch Tractor will be launched in December this year and the company will be accepting deposits for first deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2021.
