The Sitia Trektor is a hybrid robot tractor that allows for up to 24 hours of autonomous work. Trektor can change its wheelbase or height (adjustable ground clearance) to adapt itself to a crop. The robot is compatible with existing implements. It can work in vineyards, market gardens, vegetable plots and arboriculture. It can perform repetitive tasks such as soil cultivation, spraying and hoeing. There are three Trektor models: MINI, MIDI and MAXI. Navigation is based on RTK GPS and high-resolution odometry. In addition, there is LiDAR and camera survey, obstacle detection and passive safety.

Trektor navigates using both a land survey of a field within a perimeter and a mission’s parameters (pattern/ implement size/etc.) The GNSS/INS positioning enables Trektor to work in difficult environments such as greenhouses with a centimetric precision. It has both LiDAR and camera in order to precisely detect any obstacle on path and to identify them. TREKTOR will progressively slow down if an obstacle is detected until it comes to a full stop. There are two bumpers for passive safety. Its sensors are operational by night thanks to an embedded spotlight.
