The Sitia Trektor is a hybrid robot tractor with a 25 hp diesel engine designed for attaching existing implements to work in crops such as those in vineyards, market gardens, vegetable plots and arboriculture. It can perform repetitive tasks such as soil cultivation, spraying and hoeing. The Sitia Trektor has an adjustable track width and ground clearance to adapt to various crops and stages of growth. Navigation is based on RTK GPS and high-resolution odometry. In addition, there is LiDAR and camera survey, obstacle detection and passive safety. The hybrid technology allows for 24 hours of autonomous work.
Availability: In France, the first units were sold in 2019 and 2020 and next year Sitia plans to build up a global distribution and service network. Trektor prices start at € 200,000.
