DTN has acquired the Agriculture and Weather Analytics segment from Iteris. The acquisition is to boost the company’s agronomic offerings.

DTN, a supplier of agricultural insights, analysis and decision-support solutions based in Minnesota, has acquired the Agriculture and Weather Analytics segment from Iteris. The acquisition is to enable DTN to build upon its expertise in agriculture and deliver new value-driven solutions to producers and agribusinesses worldwide.

DTN weather station network alongside ClearAg’s predictive agronomic solutions

DTN says it expects to leverage its own proprietary weather station network alongside ClearAg’s predictive agronomic solutions “to deliver the most accurate independent insights in agriculture today. This strategic investment boosts our ability and underscores our commitment to serving our customers and the agriculture marketplace with new and innovative solutions,” said John Teeple, senior vice president of agriculture at DTN.

ClearAg delivers real-time, hyperlocal weather information and land surface models to make predictive agronomic solutions to agribusinesses and producers.
