VIDEO: AgXeed works with standard implements

24-12-2021 | |

AgXeed demonstrated their second AgBot prototype during a field robot demo day in the Netherlands.

The AgBot is an autonomous robot tractor for specialised and standard implements designed for category III rear and category II front hitches. The working widths are up to six meters, depending on the type of implement used, and the track width is up to 3.2 meters.

Philip Kamps, marketing manager at AgXeed says that the robot is intended to be able to do all the operations that are now done by a tractor. The AgBot can work continuously for sufficient capacity and less soil pressure with tracks of 30 – 91 cm width.

In this video Philip explains how the robot works in practice. The AgXeed AgBot is also featured in our newly updated field robots buyers guide.

Text continues underneath video.

The robot was presented during the NPPL and Farm of the Future field robot day. NPPL is a Dutch organization that helps and supports farmers to apply precision techniques on their farms.
