World FIRA 2023 will take place at the Agrobiopole Campus, in the outskirts of Toulouse (France). It will be a 100% “in-field event”, with around 20 field robots that can be seen in action.

World FIRA 2023 will be held from February 7 to 9 in Toulouse/Auzeville-Tolosane. The 7th edition of World FIRA will offer an expo, demos, conferences, networking and a scientific symposium.

What totally new is that World FIRA will be a 100% in-field event, despite the fact is being held in winter, in order for as many farmers as possible to be able to attend.

Maialen Cazenave, co-director of GOFAR (Global Organization for Agricultural Robotics, organiser of World FIRA): “We are therefore working with the Fédération Régionale des cuma Occitanie, which runs the open field demos, in order to offer cultivated plots, in line with the functionalities provided by the robot manufacturers.”

Weeding, harvesting, sowing or data collecting: the demos will be an opportunity to see about 20 autonomous machines in action and in real conditions, and to discuss with the manufacturers in attendance.

During the FIRA USA 2022 event several field robots could be seen in action during the in-field demonstrations. Watch the video here!
