Steketee shows camera-controlled hoeing machine at Agritechnica
At Agritechnica Steketee will display a prototype of a camera-controlled hoeing machine.
Equipment manufacturer Steketee – part of Lemken – will display new hoeing machines at Agritechnica.
What’s new is that the working width is adjustable per element, in a quick and easy way. Steketee will also show a prototype that uses cameras to automatically adjust the working width.

3 versions
The new hoeing machine comes in 3 versions. The first is equipped with a manual spindle adjustment, with which the working width can be adjusted without any tools at millimeter accuracy.
The second version comes with an electric adjustable spindle, with which it’s possible to adjust the working with from the cab of the tractor, using a wireless controller.
Cameras
The third version is equipped with cameras, with which the working width is automatically and continously adjusted based on the images provided by the cameras.
The spindle version will be available in 2020, the fully automatic camera-controlled hoeing machine will be launched as a prototype after 2020.
