Users of Case IH equipment, collecting data through the AFS Connect farm management system can now work with more US online service providers to exchange data.
Case IH’s Advanced Farming System products can already data-share with a number of service provider products, including:
- Decisive Farming’s My Farm Manager
- Du Pont Pioneer’s Encirca
- AgStudio software from MapShots
- AgIntegrated Onsite technologies
- and Trimble Connected Farm.
“Expanding data sharing providers is of the highest priority for Case IH. We plan to establish and announce a number of similar data-sharing agreements throughout 2018 and beyond,” says Chris Dempsey, Case IH AFS marketing manager in North America.
AFS Connect provides wireless exchange of data between farm enterprise management platforms and suitably-equipped Case IH agricultural equipment.
“We are adding the new connections to answer the demand from our customers in all regions to provide the right solutions where needed.”
Among the newcomers is AgDNA, a cloud-based mobile application and web platform enabling growers to make informed decisions about their entire farming operation.
It includes farm planning, inventory management, agronomic insights, equipment optimisation and field-level financial reports.
Advantage Acre from seed company AgReliant Genetics is a web-based digital platform that combines soil mapping, advanced weather forecasting, and variable rate planting and nitrogen recommendations, to produce sophisticated prescriptions.
Popular enterprise-level farm management platform AgDNA is among a raft of platforms and software products that are compatible for data exchange with Case IH AFS Connect.
Field operations, crop planning, scouting, mapping and compliance are brought together by AgOS from AgWorks, while the same company’s HighQ is an analytics and decision support system for data management.
Also now compatible with AFS Connect are FieldReveal, a turn-key precision farming and data management system designed for retailers to help growers with field management decisions, and AIS, which the Growmark co-operative uses for site-specific recommendations, management and analysis.
Finally, IFARM provides customised cloud-based precision agriculture software for managing farm operations.
