French machinery manufacturer Carré is offering an extended version of the Klinea hoe with electronically controlled hoeing elements. Carré will introduce this grain hoe at the upcoming Agritechnica trade fair.

The Carré Klinea hoe loosens the soil and cuts the roots of weeds at a consistent depth, thanks to the individual control of each hoeing element. An electric drive controlled by the tractor operator from the terminal directly manages the depth wheel of the hoeing element. Each hoeing element incorporates a spring system that supports the teeth through a non-stop spring safety system (stone protection).

Adjust parameters from the tractor cabin

Furthermore, it is possible to adjust the angle and depth of the hoe without the need for the driver to leave the tractor cabin. The driver can modify the parameters directly on the terminal inside the cabin to adapt the grain hoe to changing field conditions.

Comes with double row of cultivator tines

The Carré Klinea hoe comes standard with a double row of cultivator tines at the rear of the hoeing element. According to the manufacturer, this results in a flat finish and exposes weed roots on the soil surface.

Hydraulic lifting available as an option

The hydraulic lifting of the hoeing elements on headlands using Isobus GPS control is available as an option. The same applies to a double Kipline camera for crop detection.
