Sleek design Land-A2 field robot

The Exobotic Technologies Land-A2 field robot stands out for its sleek design. It is a multifunctional tool carrier with a modular design for which a patent has been requested, making it easy to configure the machine for multiple applications and yet keeps his loading box in balance on rough terrain. It is equipped with a smart battery exchange system for quick and easy replacement of the battery in the field and has a 4 × 4 electric drive. The robot is available in a limited number of European countries. Prices start at 50,000 euros.

Audience chooses a different winner than the jury

Interestingly, the public chose a different favourite than the judges. The international jury proclaimed the InsightTrac Rover as the official winner of the Ag Robot of the Year 2023 competition. The InsightTrac robot received the least number of votes from the public, with 5.5 % of the total.

The autonomous InsightTrac Rover removes Navel Orangeworm infested nuts, so-called mummies, from almond orchards.
