AgroIntelli prepares for next growth phase with support from German investor EAAVL and Nordic Alpha Partners

Danish agtech company AgroIntelli has announced a major investment round to scale up its autonomous field robot Robotti, aimed at addressing labour shortages and driving sustainable farming practices in high-value crop production. The investment comes from EAAVL Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, a Northern German family office with deep agricultural roots, in partnership with Nordic Alpha Partners, who have supported AgroIntelli since 2020.

The announcement follows last year’s news that Kubota’s European dealer network will distribute a Kubota-branded version of the Robotti robot, highlighting growing market interest in practical autonomy.

“We wanted a strategic investor who understands farming and believes in innovation,” said Ole Green, CEO and founder of AgroIntelli. “EAAVL’s background in regenerative agriculture and future-focused investments is the perfect match.”

Scaling a proven European field robot

Founded in 2015, AgroIntelli has introduced the Robotti robot across Europe as a flexible autonomous implement carrier. The robot is already operating in a wide range of agricultural and horticultural tasks, combining precision, low emissions, and reduced labour needs. The latest investment aims to position Robotti as a European leader in autonomous agriculture.

Strategic backing for growth

According to Troels Øberg of Nordic Alpha Partners, the Robotti team has shown resilience and commitment through uncertain times. “They’ve brought the product to maturity, and with EAAVL’s energy and long-term commitment, the stage is set for global expansion,” he said.

The collaboration is also strongly aligned with Kubota’s vision for autonomy in agriculture. Speaking on behalf of Kubota Holding Europe, VP Sales & Marketing Andreas Kaczmarczyk stated:

“The combination of autonomous driving with a modular frame for multiple implements is the future. With Robotti, we see an accessible and adaptable solution for one of our core customer segments in high-value crops.”

Robotti is currently available in several European markets and is featured in the Future Farming Robot Buying Guide. With the new investment, AgroIntelli plans to expand its reach and support network further across Europe and beyond.
