World FIRA 2023 opens entries for ag robotics start-up awards pitches

Start-ups developing a fully autonomous robot or an innovative autonomous system for farming can now apply for the FIRA Start-Up pitch sessions, which will be held at World FIRA 2023.

World Fira 2023 will take place from 7 to 9 February 2023 in Toulouse/Auzeville-Tolosane (France).

On 8 February 2023, it is all about investors and start-ups. During the so-called Invest’ Day, investors can learn all about the growing market of agricultural robots.

Here’s what’s on the agenda for investors:

  • 8:00 am – Breakfast FIRA’s Start-up
  • 9:00 am – Panel Discussion Agricultural Robotics Start-ups and historical manufacturers: a happy marriage?
  • 11:00 am – “FIRA Start-up Pitch Session”: pitches of 12 start-ups pre-selected, behind closed doors
  • 6:00 pm – “FIRA Start-up Award”: awarding of the most promising start-up

World FIRA Start-Up Call for Pitches 2023

From Pre-Seed to Series C Funding, start-ups can take part in the unique Start-Up Pitch session focused on Agricultural Robotics and Autonomous Systems for farming.

This Call for Pitches is organized for start-ups developing a fully autonomous robot or an innovative autonomous system for farming.

Start-ups can now apply for the FIRA Start-Up pitch session.

Start-ups will benefit from the notoriety of World FIRA to present their project to potential investors during the event, February 8th 2023. During their 10-minute pitch, they will get the opportunity to present their solution and business model to VCs, corporate ventures and business angels.

FIRA Start-Up Awards 2023

It is also the occasion to compete for the FIRA Start-Up Awards 2023! Judges are investors or investment advisors from four different geographical zones: Europe, North America, South America and Asia:

  • Juliette Raoul-Fortésa, Financial analyst at Capagro (France)
  • Trevor Sieck, Assistant Vice President, Relationship Manager Startups, F&A innovation of Rabobank (USA)
  • Anton Wibowo, CEO of Trendlines Agrifood Innovation Centre (Singapore)
  • Matias Peire, Founder of Grid Exponential (Argentina)

On February 8th at 6.30 pm, the judges will announce the winner of the FIRA Start-Up Award 2023.
